Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Soconos ("Soconos", "we", "us") is a content-planning tool for solo and faceless content creators. It helps you research ideas, draft and check content, and — when you explicitly connect your own accounts — schedule and publish that content to social platforms you control.
This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Contact: kpunnaiah2410@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information: when you sign up, we collect your email address and basic profile information through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as permitted by the basic sign-in scopes you approve.
Content you create: brand profiles, ideas, drafts, captions, schedules, and related settings you enter into the app.
Connected-account data: if you choose to connect a social account (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube), we store the access tokens that account issues to us, plus basic profile details (such as your username, channel/page name, and account ID) needed to publish on your behalf and show which account is connected.
Usage and technical data: standard logs and analytics (for example, pages viewed and errors) used to operate and improve the service.
3. How we use your information
To provide the core features you request: generating and checking content, scheduling, and publishing to accounts you connect.
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To operate, maintain, debug, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Google user data and YouTube API Services
Soconos uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and your use of Google data is subject to the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
When you connect YouTube, you grant Soconos access only to the scopes shown on Google's consent screen — uploading videos to your channel (youtube.upload) and reading your channel details (youtube.readonly). We use this access solely to (a) display your connected channel name and stats in the app, and (b) upload videos to your channel when you explicitly approve and schedule a post. We never post without your explicit action.
Limited Use disclosure: Soconos's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide or improve the user-facing feature you requested, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. We do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your consent for specific messages, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
You can revoke Soconos's access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting YouTube inside Soconos deletes the stored tokens for that connection.
5. How we store and protect data
App data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database; authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. Access tokens for connected social accounts are stored to enable publishing and are removed when you disconnect the account or delete your account.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Data sharing
We share data only with the infrastructure and platform providers needed to run the service — for example our hosting and database provider (Cloudflare), authentication provider (Supabase), the social platforms you connect (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube/Google), and any AI/content providers you choose to enable (such as ElevenLabs or Kling).
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.
7. Your choices and rights
You can disconnect any social account from within the app at any time, which deletes the stored tokens for that connection.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing kpunnaiah2410@gmail.com.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data; contact us to exercise them.
8. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, or disconnect a specific integration, we delete the associated data and tokens within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
9. Children
Soconos is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date below, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
